Senior Cyber Security Solutions Architect (CSSA)


 May perform any or all of the following duties: 

  • Meet with Patriot’s clients to research and understand requirements for solutions centered around Microsoft security technologies  
  • Develop statement of work (SoW) with task lists and estimated level of effort (LOE) for various types of projects in support of these solutions 
  • Design, build and deliver the optimal technical solution to address the client requirements 
  • Audit client environments and deliver security recommendations 
  • Lead incident response efforts in response to client breaches
  • Assist the sales team in identifying and qualifying opportunities with new and existing clients 
  • Collaborate with Patriot’s Professional Services team on developing deployment models 
  • Build high level of customer relationships that are trusted and respected 
  • Continuously update the skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing landscape and customer needs 
  • Other duties as assigned 


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience  
  • 7+ years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to Information Technology systems 
  • Solid knowledge of security standards and compliance like PCI, HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, ISO 27001, NIST, CSF, COBIT, ITIL, SANS 20 
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of risk assessment, risk procedures, security assessment, vulnerability management, penetration testing 
  • Leading industry certifications like, CISSP (strongly desired), CCIE-Security, CISA, CISM, CEH, CHP, PCI-QSA are highly preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and its security concerns 
  • Comfort leading CIO/CTO level presentations, solution demonstrations and whiteboard sessions 
  • Ability to work cooperatively with sales, services and the PMO team 
  • Demonstrated passion for technology, solution design and self-study 
  • Previous experience working in collaborative team environments 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization skills and detail oriented 
  • Excellent presentation skills 
  • Experience working for a systems integrator is preferred 


  • Home Office environment, fast paced, high volume of activity at times, demanding and deadline driven - project based 


  • Occasional travel - 5%
